Sam Bracken Assembly

Westwind School Division is excited to welcome Sam Bracken to our division next week.

Students from CJHS will have the opportunity to hear Sam speak on Tuesday, February 5 at 10:00am. They will be joined by students from Mountain View School and Spring Glen Junior High School. Parents are welcome to attend this assembly.

Sam Bracken is a motivational speaker who battled homelessness, poverty, and abuse to successfully earn a full-ride football scholarship to the Georgia Institute of Technology. Sam is the author of "My Orange Duffel Bag" which is the story of everything he’s learned about overcoming the odds and radically changing his life so others can create positive, lasting change of their own.

Sam will also be holding a free community presentation on February 5 at 7:00pm at Cardston Elementary School for any families wishing to attend.
