In order for students to try out for a volleyball team they must have the Acknowledgement of Risk form filled out.
Please fill out the appropriate form for your child (If the correct form is not filled out for your child they will not be permitted to try out).

CJHS Volleyball Tryout Information – 2025 Season
Volleyball tryouts will begin the first week of school as outlined below. Attendance at tryouts is critical for coaches to assess skill level and make informed decisions about team placements. Missing a tryout may impact your child’s opportunity to make the team.

Please be respectful of our coaches' time by ensuring your child arrives and is picked up promptly. The easiest location for drop-off and pick-up is at the back of the school on the southwest corner of the gym.
By allowing your child to try out, you are agreeing to the expectations if they are selected for the team. This includes full participation in all practices, games, and tournaments, as well as payment of all associated fees (school and athletic).
All parents and athletes must also attend a mandatory parent meeting on (Insert date/time here) in the CJHS Library. Please note: players will not be eligible to participate in the first game if the meeting is missed.

Games
Games will be held on Thursdays at 4:00 pm or 5:15 pm.
** Please note: The 5:15 pm game will begin immediately following the 4:00 pm game, so actual start times may be slightly earlier or later than scheduled.
Game locations may include: Stirling, Raymond, Magrath, Mountain View, Cardston, and Spring Glen.
Transportation
At this time, we are unsure whether bus transportation will be available. If buses are not provided, parents will need to coordinate transportation for their teams.
Fees
Fees for volleyball teams are $150 + $50 uniform deposit (is returned once the uniform is returned in good condition - this deposit can carry forward to basketball)
