Our staff, students and families wish to extend all our love to the Holland family.  We have been praying, crying, and thinking of you and your beautiful family at this difficult time.  We are sad to hear of the tragic news and loss of your son and brother and our friend Briggs Holland.  We hope you feel love and peace and know that we will remember him always.  
Briggs was the first to invite a child on the outside to come play, to say something kind, to see a need and jump in to help.  He has a sweet smirk and gentle words for everyone he meets.  He is talented, musical, athletic, smart, handsome, hardworking, playful and most importantly just a genuine person.  We will miss him and we know there will be many days where a tear or memory will remind us of just how lucky we are to have known Briggs Holland.  
We have seen him reach out and hug a friend in distress and just listen to another in need.  We hope that all of our students, staff and community members can do just that.  Reach out and give a hug and share a memory or a thought about Briggs or someone you love.  Share what you are feeling with someone you care about and give them a hug and a smile.  Do it your way, through a text, post, message, letter, card, a word, with friends, on the court or field.  Wherever you share your love ,we invite you to let those you love, know how you feel and how much you care.  If you need help and are hurting please ask for help.  We have a community with many caring friends, parents, coaches, teachers, counsellors and family.
