We have reviewed the increasing costs for lift tickets, equipment rentals, transportation, and changes to supervision ratios on the ski hill to decrease inherent risks to our students. After consulting with our staff, parent council and Castle Mountain we have chosen to cancel our CJHS ski trips to Castle Mountain due to the increasing costs to support the adventure.
We recognize the fun that comes with learning a new sport and being out in nature. We invite all families that take advantage of seasonal discounts, programs like SnowKids and any other opportunities to enjoy the sport of skiing in the Rocky Mountains as a family.
