Participation in CJHS Athletics requires a fee to be paid. This helps to offset the cost of bussing, uniforms and equipment upkeep, referees, and tournament fees. Fees must be paid (or have a payment arrangement) before athletes can play. Fees can be paid by cash, cheque, or by etransfer (cjhsfees@westwind.ab.ca) to the school.
The following is a list of sports we offer at CJHS and the fees associated with each:
CROSS COUNTRY
Grade 6: $25.00 (includes a t-shirt)
Grade 7/8: $40.00 (includes a t-shirt)
VOLLEYBALL
Grade 6: TBD
Grade 7/8: $130.00
BASKETBALL
Grade 6: No Charge
Grade 7/8: $150.00
BADMINTON
Grade 7/8: $10.00 ($20 T-shirt available above fees)
TRACK AND FIELD
Any athlete who qualifies for the Zone track meet will have their fees paid by CJHS Athletics
ARCHERY
$40.00 for tryout
$75.00 team fee + $30.00 bow rental if they don't have their own bow
