First day
We hope you’re enjoying the last few weeks of summer! Our staff has been working hard to prepare for the upcoming school year, and student schedules will be available through the PowerSchool portal this week.
We’re excited to welcome students back on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. To help our students transition smoothly, we will have a staggered entry on the first day:
- Grade 6: Attend from 8:30 – 11:45 a.m.
Buses will provide morning transportation. Parents/guardians will need to pick students up at 11:45 a.m. - Grades 7 and 8: Attend from 12:30 – 3:20 p.m.
Parents/guardians will need to drop students off at 12:30 p.m. Buses will be available for the regular afternoon route.
Please do not have students arrive before 12:20 p.m. as staff will be on a lunch break and school doors will remain locked until that time.
On the first day, students will:
- Attend a fun welcome assembly in the gym
- Receive their lock and locker
- Rotate through their class schedule to meet teachers and get organized for the first full day of classes on Wednesday, September 3
We understand that transportation may be a challenge for some families. If you are unable to arrange midday pick-up or drop-off, students may stay at school for the full day. If your child(ren) will need to remain at school all day, please reply to this email to let us know, and be sure to send a lunch with them. Prior arrangements are required so we can plan appropriate supervision and activities.
